Pink Gemstone Flowers on a Golden Ring
Published · Updated
A golden ring opens into a miniature garden of gemstone flowers. Fine branching stems rise from the band, each carrying pointed petals in blush pink, peach or deep plum. Small prongs hold the faceted stones at their tips, and tiny gold leaves appear between the stems. Open spaces within the crown keep the delicate construction visible rather than turning it into a solid cluster.
The ring stands at an angle on a rough block of dark slate. Soft window light passes through the petals, revealing quiet variations in colour and depth. Bright edges on the gold are balanced by darker reflections along the inner band, while the slate provides a simple contrast to the smooth metal and cut stones.
The close view shows the complete band, the individual flower settings and the slight texture of the hand worked stems. The background recedes gently, leaving the small object as the clear focus. This photograph is free to use, including for commercial projects.
