A fortune teller cabinet brings a little theatrical mystery to the quiet arcade. The salmon pink cabinet has a glazed upper case and teal panels covered in gold botanical scrolls. Inside, a mechanical fortune teller sits at a small velvet-covered table. A painted face, jointed wooden fingers and gathered fabric sleeves make the figure's handmade character clear beneath the warm lamp.

Faint glass reflections separate the lit interior from the cool night outside. Copper-colored leaves rest across the tiled floor, and paper oak leaves add a seasonal flourish overhead. Worn paint and a simple brass coin slot give the machine a sense of use, while deep shadows preserve the secluded atmosphere.
