Pink muhly grass rolls across the autumn garden
Published · Updated
Pink muhly grass rolls across the garden in loose masses of airy flower plumes. Fine rose-colored filaments rise above slender green stems, with each tuft differing slightly in height and density. Backlight catches the nearest strands and lets the farther planting merge into softer pink layers.
A pale gravel curve follows one edge of the grass, while dark pines and a gold-leaved tree mark the distant boundary. The breeze bends neighboring clumps at different angles, giving the broad planted surface gentle movement. The low viewpoint retains individual grass texture in front and a wider sweep of autumn color farther across the garden.
