Pink oyster mushrooms fill the growing shelf
Published · Updated
Pink oyster mushrooms fill a wooden shelf with overlapping salmon-colored fans. The nearest cluster opens toward the camera, showing layered caps with pale rippled edges and fine gills underneath. Short joined stems connect the growth to a compact block of straw-like material.
Smaller clusters appear farther back in the dim alcove, each supported above a plain shallow tray. Side light catches the thinner cap margins and draws gentle ridges through the gills, leaving the timber background dark enough to emphasize the living texture. A few loose strands and a nearby glass surface establish the small growing space. The close environmental view preserves both the delicate mushroom structure and the practical shelf around it.
