Rubber Duck Stream over the Little Stone Weir
Published · Updated
A rubber duck stream threads bright yellow toys through a narrow passage of mossy stone. The ducks gather loosely above a small weir and spread out again in the ripples below it. Some face forward and others turn with the water, giving the toy duck race a loose, uneven rhythm.
Ferns, ivy and orange leaves frame the autumn stream scene, with transparent shallows revealing stones beneath the surface. A short wooden barrier enters beside the water near the foreground. Seen from above, the familiar toys become a winding pattern within the landscape, while the small drop and sparkling ripples give the procession a clear route through the picture.
