Skeleton Leaf Curtains in the Autumn Light Hall

Published · Updated

Tall curtains of skeletal leaves fill a bright garden hall, their delicate surfaces changing from warm ivory near the roof to deep plum close to the floor. Each heart-shaped leaf carries a fine network of veins, with a long pointed tip and a darker central stem. The nearest layers overlap like translucent lace, while the more distant curtains gather into soft columns of changing colour.

Slim circular hoops and fine threads support the installation, leaving wide passages between the hanging forms. Autumn sunlight enters through the tall windows and faceted glass roof, throwing intricate leaf shadows onto the dark terrazzo. Pale stone piers frame views of copper trees outside, and low planting follows the curved edge of the room. The visible structure gives the fragile display a clear physical setting.

The photograph celebrates the detail of a natural material through repetition and light. Its cream, rose and plum palette suits an autumn wallpaper or seasonal decorating feature, with the tiny leaf veins providing a second layer of interest within the larger room.
