Striped piglets follow their mother through the forest
Published · Updated
Five striped piglets follow their mother across a floor of autumn leaves. Their small brown bodies carry pale back stripes, with short ears, pointed little snouts and tiny hooves visible among the copper foliage. The dark adult wild boar lowers her head near the ground as the group moves beside her.
Tall beech trunks and mossy roots surround the clearing, while dappled morning light catches the bristles along the mother's back. The piglets form a loose uneven line, with one partly behind another farther from the camera. A fallen branch and green moss frame the near ground, keeping the family within the scale and texture of the quiet woodland.
