Terracotta fins in clay, ivory and pale green shades screen a curved facade above glass doors, planted grasses and wet paving.

Terracotta fins wrap the curved facade

Published · Updated

Terracotta fins wrap the curved facade in long vertical rows. Warm clay, coral and ivory bands alternate with pale gray-green pieces in front of recessed glass. Small consistent gaps reveal dark horizontal supports and reflections behind the straight ceramic edges.

A broad concrete floor band follows the curve above the ground-level entrance, where plain glass doors open onto wet paving. Grasses and a small tree grow in a low curved planter beside the building. Late-day light warms one side of the fins and leaves the spaces between them darker. The low oblique view shows the repeated screen at close range while retaining the entrance, planting and grounded shape of the wider structure.
