The Green Marble Garden Veranda
Published · Updated
Wide bands of green marble and pale stone turn the floor of this glass veranda into an intricate geometric composition. The dark stone carries fine white veins, while the cream sections have a softer, porous texture. Slim brass frames divide the tall windows and open doors, giving the room a clear outline against the trees beyond. Dappled sunlight reaches across the floor and the rounded green upholstery, connecting the shaded seating area with the brighter garden terrace outside.
A long curved sofa follows the far corner, facing a pair of low brass tables with glossy dark tops. Rounded armchairs complete the arrangement without interrupting the view. Small blue bowls provide quiet accents, and a large pale vase filled with white flowering branches stands on the green marble console at the right. Above, a gently stepped cream ceiling holds a warm band of light. The photograph brings together polished stone, soft fabric and leafy outdoor space in one calm, richly detailed room.
