The Turquoise Scallop Column Hall
Published · Updated
Turquoise scalloped arches repeat through this magnificent hall, supported by broad pale rose columns with dark green panels and gilded botanical details. Their fluted shafts rise toward cream ceiling domes edged with delicate golden leaves. Clear glass pendants hang at the centre of each bay, adding small warm points along the long perspective. Tall arched windows open the side of the room to a fresh green garden after rain.
The grey marble floor reflects the columns, lamps and garden light in soft layers, with dark stone bands marking the joints between its large panels. Deep green benches sit quietly between the supports, and a vase of white flowering branches fills the far end. The photograph places the complete rhythm of architecture in view, allowing the repeated curves to create depth. Pink, turquoise and gold feel grounded by the natural stone and green foliage. Fine carved edges and varied reflections make the grand interior richly detailed without obscuring its clear arrangement.
