Two ribbon dancers face each other across a courtyard, shaping separate trails of turquoise and coral through the evening air. Their long teal and terracotta dresses follow the movement without hiding the simple upright poses. Each dancer holds a slender stick, and their smiles make the rehearsal feel like a conversation.

A stone fountain rises between them beneath pale arcades and open windows. Water falls in thin streams while the ribbons make broader curves against the architecture. Low sunlight warms the sky and catches the paving in the foreground. The complete setting gives the small performance room to breathe, balancing the fountain's steady shape with the dancers' light, colorful motion.
