Windy Map Reading Becomes a Group Effort
Published · Updated
Windy map reading becomes a small expedition of its own above the valley. Three friends gather around a folded road map as a gust bows the paper between their hands. The woman's houndstooth dress adds a crisp black-and-white pattern, with scattered dots, dark sleeves and a rounded collar keeping its details distinct.
One friend steadies another corner while the third points toward their route. Their changing grips and amused expressions give the large paper sheet a sense of movement without hiding the people around it. Beyond the stone railing, wooded slopes open into a deep valley. Cool sunlight catches the creases in the map and the textured paving of the mountain terrace, placing the shared puzzle within a much larger view.
