A broad shallow bowl of dark metal sits just above a reflecting pool. Fine streams of water fall beneath it, partly concealing the central support and giving the heavy form a floating appearance. A small bubble breaks the otherwise level water at the centre of the bowl. Its thin rim catches a narrow line of daylight against the deeper patinated surface.

Tall palms and spreading ferns rise behind a pale planter wall. The surrounding stone atrium opens to blue sky, allowing natural light to reach the leaves and water from above. Reflections of the greenery and architecture break into gentle ripples across the larger pool, while the bowl casts a broad dark shape underneath.

The low viewpoint shows the complete bowl, the narrow gap below it and the near stone edge of the pool. Wet surfaces, separate water droplets and subtle metal texture give the simple composition its detail. This photograph is free to use, including for commercial projects.
