A Halloween balloon glows above the wicker basket
Published · Updated
A Halloween balloon fills the tall hall with amber lights. Its clear outer sphere contains smaller orange and black balloons, their rounded surfaces catching many bright reflections. Orange ribbons curve over the top and descend toward black bows at the sides. The transparent surface allows the whole construction to remain visible, making the display feel light despite its generous scale.
Long dark rods connect the sphere to a broad wicker basket below. Gauzy black netting drapes over the rim, where a few small pumpkins add another band of orange. Brass lanterns stand on the slate floor beside large pots of branching stems. Their warm reflections repeat the light from above without crowding the open space around the basket.
Black moth decorations scatter across the paneled wall. A tall arched window brings a cobalt blue note into the upper corner, setting the indoor glow against the last light outdoors. The full-height view shows how the playful hot-air-balloon shape fits within an ordinary entrance hall. Wicker weave, soft gauze, smooth balloons and hard stone each keep their own texture, grounding the ambitious decoration in familiar materials.
