A sea angel swims through the dark blue
Published · Updated
A sea angel hangs diagonally within dark blue water, its translucent body tapering toward a fine orange tip. Two broad swimming lobes extend from either side like thin sheets. Their curved edges catch the light, while the water remains visible through the delicate tissue. Near the head, orange inner structures make the strongest patch of color in the scene.
The clear body reveals subtle grain and fine internal lines. Short paired projections rise above the head, and the two swimming lobes sit at slightly different angles. This small asymmetry suggests a moment within an ongoing stroke. The tissue appears brightest along the nearer edges, then fades almost completely into the surrounding blue.
Sparse particles float at different distances around the animal. Some become tiny sharp points, while others soften into pale circles. They add depth to the otherwise simple background without competing with the central form. The portrait composition leaves a generous space below the tapered body, making the tiny creature feel suspended within a large volume of water. Clear blue, pale white and concentrated orange carry the entire image.
