A whale shark feeds beneath the rippling surface with its broad open mouth angled toward the light. Pale spots cover the gray head and continue along the body, while the two wide pectoral fins spread clearly behind it. A small dark eye sits beside the immense rounded front of the animal.
The body recedes toward a distinct tail in deeper blue water, with broken surface reflections crossing the back. Fine suspended particles soften the distance without obscuring the main forms. Seen from slightly below, the feeding position and full front outline remain clear, giving the large animal room within the surrounding sea and the bright shifting water above.
