Glass Pumpkins in the Terraced Court
Published · Updated
Hand-blown glass pumpkins glow across the terraces of this autumn garden court. Amber, ruby and green bodies catch the low sun, revealing ribs, small bubbles and changing depths of colour. Clear curling stems rise above the rounded forms, while smaller pumpkins gather between the larger pieces. The display turns familiar harvest shapes into a study of light and glass.
Weathered stone ledges give the bright objects a solid setting. Bronze grasses and copper leaves soften the terrace edges, and a narrow cascade feeds the still water below. Pale arches and climbing vines frame the upper level, with golden trees beyond the wall. Sunlight passing through the glass leaves warm patches on the stone, balanced by cool reflections in the wet slate and water. This photograph offers inspiration for seasonal garden displays, decorative glass collections and autumn colour combinations. Its layered arrangement brings together sculpture, planting and architecture in a single generous view. It is free to use for personal and commercial projects.
