Lift nets rise above the quiet lagoon
Published · Updated
Lift nets rise above a quiet lagoon on timber platforms and tall bamboo supports. The nearest square mesh hangs from four arcing arms, with ropes connecting its corners to the working structure. Slender stilts hold the small deck above the water, keeping the mechanism’s shape easy to follow.
Two more platforms recede across the lagoon in softer silhouette. Copper light near the horizon meets mauve cloud above, and gentle ripples return broken reflections of the net frames. A few reeds and a plain mooring post anchor the foreground, placing the broad empty mesh within a calm setting of practical materials and open water.
