A silver feather skirt brings a flash of evening glamour to an unlikely rooftop task. The woman holds the air connection on an enormous blue inflatable crocodile while her friend presses a yellow bellows pump with one foot. Rectangular silver pieces catch the light above an abundant lime feather hem, set against her simple black satin top and delicate flat sandals.

The crocodile stretches toward the foreground, its shiny printed scales and soft seams giving the scene a playful sense of size. A warm portable lamp makes small highlights on the plastic and clothing. Behind the two friends, a low concrete parapet and distant city lights sit beneath the deepening blue sky, keeping the unusual preparation firmly in an everyday setting.
