Stained glass pavilion at orchard blue hour
Published · Updated
A stained glass pavilion glows beneath the orchard trees as the sky turns blue. Amber circles, green leaves and blue sections fill the framed panels, while an open door reveals a fern and a small wooden seat. The raised brick base and dark structural members keep the colorful surface grounded in a tangible little building.
Leaf-shaped glass spreads across the walls and roof, catching the warm light from inside. Outside, damp gravel and brick pick up softer reflections, and the surrounding foliage partly conceals the path. The oblique view shows how a compact garden structure can become an evening destination through material, light and the sense of a door left invitingly open.
