Tilted cube houses rise above the courtyard
Published · Updated
Tilted cube houses rise above the courtyard on substantial brick cores. Yellow panels and ivory edges follow the sloping faces, with recessed windows aligned to the angled walls. A cobalt side panel adds a cooler accent to the farther building.
The three separate volumes leave an irregular opening of blue sky between them. Below, a small tree grows in a plain raised planter beside an empty bench, and clean geometric shadows cross the gray paving. The low upward view includes the grounded cores and entrances as well as the tilted upper rooms. Crisp daylight reveals panel seams, mortar and glass reflections, making the unusual shapes feel like complete usable buildings within an ordinary shared outdoor space.
