A bamboo fountain pours water over the pebbles
Published · Updated
A bamboo fountain pours water over the pebbles through a tilted hollow tube. A smaller spout above drops water into its upper opening, while a clear stream leaves the lower end and breaks into bright droplets below. Two plain upright supports hold the crosspiece, with simple twine joints securing the structure.
Wet pebbles fill the shallow stone basin beneath, their gray and cream surfaces shining through the moving water. Moss follows the rough rim, and broad green leaves soften the background. Warm morning light brings out the bamboo grain and small scratches, keeping the close garden detail focused on physical materials and the gentle path of the flowing water.
