Circular Reservoir Spillway Under Storm Clouds
Published · Updated
A circular reservoir spillway interrupts the dark reservoir water with a broad ring of falling white streams. Water passes over the outer lip and down stepped concrete rings toward the central opening. The high bank-side view emphasizes the broad circular form, making its repeated edges visible beneath the broken surface.
Wind ripples spread across the quieter water outside the structure. A rough strip of grassy shore leads toward distant rolling hills and a thin tree line, all beneath low slate clouds. Stains and moss darken the concrete around the bright falling water. The restrained colors allow the circular form and surrounding landscape to carry the scene.
