Round earth houses gather below the green hills
Published · Updated
Round earth houses gather below the green hills, their tiled roofs forming dark rings above warm ochre walls. The nearest dwelling opens around a broad stone courtyard, where timber galleries run along the inner levels. Two plain drying mats and a dark jar add small details within the large shared space.
A smaller circular building stands farther up the slope beside rectangular houses and narrow garden plots. Low afternoon light catches the outer earth walls and roof edges while the inner galleries remain shaded. The high oblique view makes the thick construction and curved arrangement clear, with forested hills continuing beyond the village into a softened distance.
