Coastal Fishing Perches Above the Silver Surf
Published · Updated
Coastal fishing perches rise above the small breaking waves. Two fishers sit separately on braced timber seats, their feet hanging clear of the water as slender rods extend outward. Pale shirts and dark wooden poles stand against the silver coastal water, with a quiet exchange of attention between the two figures.
Diagonal braces and visible lashings give each simple perch its shape. Empty poles continue farther along the shallows, while a low rocky shoreline and distant palms mark the edge of the view. Cool daylight softens the horizon. The broad composition holds the people, their supports and the moving foreground surf together in one patient coastal moment.
