Glass Wheels in the Autumn Grove
Published · Updated
Large circular glass wheels hang among the branches of an autumn grove. Each open-centred frame holds narrow wedges of green, blue, amber and clear glass, arranged like spokes around its empty middle. The nearest wheel fills the upper view, revealing rippled surfaces and thin metal divisions. Smaller wheels continue between the trees, their changing size drawing the eye along the path.
Low sunlight passes through the glass and the golden leaves, adding small coloured reflections to the wet stone below. Ivy wraps the dark trunks, while moss and ferns soften the boulders beside the path. A simple empty wooden bench waits at the far end, framed by the last hanging disc and a glimpse of distant trees. The construction stays transparent, so branches and leaves can be seen through the coloured segments as well as through the central openings. It is a quiet garden spectacle of repeated circles, autumn texture and light moving through carefully assembled glass.
